Hi there! I bet you’ve been wondering if I was ever going to get back here, right? Well, the thing is that I feel like I have been staying extremely active in the blogging and loom knitting world, as I’ve been regularly writing patterns and posts for Authentic Knitting Board. Besides the odd post on the Gettin’ it Pegged! facebook page, it’s been kind of all encompassing. But, since it’s been a while for me to have posted here, I thought I’d catch you all up on what’s been happening recently, just in case you haven’t been following along in those other venues. 🙂
Well, first of all, I’ve been keeping up with a new stitch every month with the Stitchology Column. You can find a new post every first Monday of the month. The last time I caught you all up was last March, so we’ve got an entire year’s worth of stitches to log:
April: Tulip Fields Stitch May: Popcorn Stitch June: Waffle Stitch
July: Flag Stitch August: Broken Rib 2×2 Stitch September: Zig Zag Eyelet Rib
October: Corn Stalk Stitch November: Raised Circles Stitch December: Evergreen Stitch
2016
January: Triple Slip Rib February: Kisses & Hugs March: Irish Moss
I’ve also been doing some other projects, both on the KB Blog, and the KB website:
Zoey’s Toesies Button-Up Romeos Pumpkin Patch Placemats
Zippy Pumpkin Slouch Amethyst Falls Hooded Cowl Shelby the Shelf Elf (so fun!)
Zippy Foot Pouf Zippy Pillow Pouf
Very Berry Bonnet (Love!!!)
Double Take Cowl Kitty Cat Mat (Isn’t our Stormy adorable??)
And that concludes the Free Patterns that have been listed at the above links. 🙂
There were also two booklets that included some of my designs:
(Both featured on the cover! 😀 )
And…the ever so cute:
Booklet Number Two:
Beaded Snowflake Double Knit Scarf (and my fave) Faux Cabled Cowl
I have also been keeping up with my posts and projects on Ravelry (I’ve got 74 designs listed there so far, can you believe it?? 😀 ). If you have created ANY of the above projects or Stitchology squares, I would absolutely love it if you could link to the main project page so that we can all see your beautiful work and oooh and aaaah over it! It also helps to write down any of your ideas, impressions, thoughts and tips for those loomers coming after you in creating the items who may be looking for just that kind of extra helpful information. Thank you so much! ❤
So, as you can see…I really have been super-d-duper busy with my little looms and didn’t want to hold out any longer on documenting them all here… the place where it all began, lol! I hope you’ve been having a wonderful winter and beginning of spring wherever you may be… and that you’ve been keeping those fingers whirring around those pegs, whipping up fantastic and amazing fibery goodies~ Loom on! 😀
Bethany~
