~find your voice…in ink!

yuduOn Saturday, I got to demo a brand new product out there on the market by one of our favorite companies …yep!  Provo Crafts has introduced a new, easy to use screen printing system called Yudu.

I was pretty nervous going into work on Saturday, because I knew this demo was on my to-do list.  I had previously viewed the how-to DVD but, hadn’t actually gotten to practice with the whole set up.  I didn’t want to look like a total newbie at it, or make a really big goof and actually turn people away from it, rather than help to promote it, lol!

Let me tell you that once we (my friend Jeanine and I were working together on the demo…oh, and Susan gave us a lot of input as well, lol!) got through the instructions and printed our first item (which happened to be a tote bag) we were hooked!  It came out perfect with one swipe of the squeege!  We then began searching around for more things to print on, lol.  One of our co-workers couldn’t resist and rushed to Wally’s to pick up a little tee for his tiny girl, so we could print a shirt for her. 🙂

I think I’ve talked myself into getting one of these beauties!  Who would be in the market for some really cute “Gettin’ It Pegged!” tees?  Susan and I are going to go in together…and maybe a couple more local buds who are desirous of dabbling in some ink and a really clever new screen printing system.  Want in on the fun?  😉

What did Yudu today?!

So is the yudu a silk screen printing machine for us dummies?? I would like a t-shirt. Size 1X. What all does the Yudu do?? That sounds funny, part of an advertisement if I ever heard one.

Great question, Jeannette! 🙂 It is a wonderfully easy to use screen printing machine for just about anyone. You can use designs from your computer, paper cut-outs, or even one’s you’ve drawn yourself by hand! Cool, huh? I’ll save you a tee when I actually purchase mine and get her up and running, lol! 😉 I’m dreaming up lots and lots of ideas till then…
