505,946!
Yep…you read that right. We have had that many visitors to the Clique over the last 4+ years! That’s downright amazing and pretty cool besides, lol! 🙂
I had been watching the numbers climb and meant to post something special when we hit the half a million mark, but I’ve also been pretty busy over the last couple weeks and haven’t had the time to spare to be online as much as usual. Then I peeked the other day and kapow! It was over the mark by quite a bit already, lol!
In celebration of this very amazing benchmark in the history of Gettin’ It Pegged! I’d love to do a giveaway! What do ya’ all think about that? 🙂
I have an extra & very sweet 2 Cool 4 Stix Tote that I’d love to give away to somebody special who will be chosen randomly from the comments of this particular post. The rules are that you can make a comment to this post once a day for the next week until the close of Sunday, December 11, 2011. The only time you can make an additional comment entry in a single day is when you share about the drawing and link back to where you shared in your comment. So the more times you share, the more times you can enter daily! 😉
The winning name will be drawn randomly from amongst the comments on Monday, December 12, 2011. If the winner does not email me with their mailing address within 3 days, a new winner will be drawn from the remaining entries.
What should you share about in your comments??
I think we’d all love to hear some interesting tidbits from you… like what is your favorite project out of Loom Knitting for Little People so far? How are you doing with your holiday looming endeavors? What is your all time favorite yarn or loom and why? Do you have a question you’ve been just dying to ask me? Do you have a fantastic craft idea you’d love to share or link to? Let’s get creative and have a lot of fun with this… I think we can learn something new everyday through our super clever entries, don’t you? 🙂
The prize tote is hiding somewhere in this picture full of 2 Cool 4 Stix abundance… can you guess which one it is??
I hope you’re all having a fantastic December so far…
Wow! Can you believe that there’s just over two weeks until Christmas?! …and it’s already starting to snow here in blogland~ brrrrrr! Where did the year go, anyway?
Happy Half a Million Celebration…and good luck to you! 😀
Bethany~
Congrats on reaching this milestone, Sunshine ❤
I just got into looming and enjoy your blog, thank you! Jane
That is so awesome! I’m so proud of all you’ve accomplished this year. It has been a milestone year in so many ways for you! Thanks for all you do – as Lola says on Charlie and Lola – “you’re my favorite and my best!”
Yay for u Bethany!! Congrats. I spotted the special bag, can’t wait for the drawing.
My favorite yarn is Michaels Loops and Threads, love the feel and colors.
How exciting, Bethany! I’ll be back after posting this on my blog! 🙂
Oh, my favorite looms are KISS looms. Not really sure I have a favorite yarn. I think I like just about all of them. Haha!
Ok, I made a blog post all about your milestone, sweetie!

You rock! I am totally consumed by my looms and yarn and books and blogs… Yep, I’ve gone loomy!!
Congrats on your milestone!
Congrats…Looming hats for the homeless and for the Food Shelf this year. (your patterns are great)
Congrats Bethany! I have been super busy knitting up mittens again for charity! Hoping to get my copy of Loom Knitting for Little People from Santa!
My favorite yarn is fun fur types. I make a lot of hats for cherities and find a fun fur stripe can really dress up a boring yarn.!
Congratulations for hitting this milestone. Your message is reaching far and wide–
Congrats on such an amazing milestone! I’ve knit gifts for various family members this year (whether they like them or not *lol*) and I have some extras to drop off in a Community Care bin at my son’s school.
I love chunky, textured yarns– anything fun and funky!
congrats on the milestone…. you have a great site and I share it when I have a friend looking for loom patterns.
Totally awesome for you to reach this milestone, the next half a million will be a piece of cake!
A big CONGRATULATION! Wow! half a million its is amazing but with all the effort you made those past years to give us so many ideas, pattern and you newborn a Book of your own you plenty deserved it!!! I enjoy follow you on your facebook page and the other many, on your yahoo group, your website and on your chanel on youtube!!! Keep doing a wonderful job, and i impatiently wait for the number 2 book lol!
Your projects are giving me so many ideas! Do you have any projects for pets? I’m hopping to pick out a new puppy tonight 🙂 I have half and one inch bits of fabric I might tie together and loom into a rug for under the water dish.
Wow, congrats on the half million! That’s amazing! I have to say that I LOVE, LOVE, LOVE your book and am currently starting Koby for my daughter for Christmas!!
I am so excited for you (and us)! I am not surprised by the half million, you are great at all the things you do. I love seeing it all. I am fairly new to looming so I get excited to see new things. Thanks for sharing.
I am very new to loom knitting and your site. I found you when I bought your baby booties that look like sneakers for my great niece. They were my inspiration to start learning. I will always be grateful for that 🙂
I had to have your book right away of course, and would love to make the “So Cool Cap” but my niece says the baby insists on the “crazy caterpillar” being the first project 😉
Congrats on your half million … it is well deserved.
What an accomplishment, Bethany! You’re well on your way to becoming a blog millionaire!
I think I’ll have to try making a pair of fingerless gloves from your site. The other day my arms were frozen as I was looming under a blanket. I told my boyfriend I needed a snuggie. He wasn’t amused! That’s after I make a slobber mat. I just accepted my cousins dog that she can’t keep. This was just hours before going to look at puppies yesterday. I’d say it’s mentioned to be 🙂
Back again 🙂
My favorite looms are the Kiss ones. I started with the Knifty Knitter but wanted some finer gauge ones very quickly. I love the way the KISS looms are so adjustable and light. The service is incredible too … all the support you need.
Here’s my comment for the day…you wanted us to guess which tote? That really stripey one on the bottom right looks pretty awesome!
I think the prize tote is the pink one 🙂 have a great day!
I know that you been playing a lot with the New Martha Stewart loom to see all the possibilitys that we dont know yet and im pretty sure that you will come to us with amazing patterns to do on it…..mabe a book? !
I don’t usually knitt for the holidays. Things just get to crazy! I’ve had a rush on hat requests this year and want to get them done by Christmas when I see everyone to save mailing them. I don’t know how I’ll get them all done!
Congrates on your achievements! Can’t wait to see what you create for loomers in the coming new year. Currently working on “Sweet Pea hat/skirt.” Started looming a year or so I still consider myself a novice but enjoy the new challenges.
Very impressive Bethany! I just started loom knitting a couple months ago and am totally addicted! I just love reading your blog and have even joined your yahoo group. Yours are some of my favorite patterns to work on and I am looking forward to looming up a couple from your new book that I recently purchased.
I’ve been scanning to see comments on favorite yarns. Haven’t tried too many yet, but I love the Loops and Threads Cozy wool. It’s a #6 … half wool and half acrylic. It knits up really quickly and makes the softest double knit scarves! It’s Michaels store brand so it goes on sale a lot too.
Well I just finished my three Christmas trees. I have a very nice skirt for my big tree but none for my two smaller trees. Thinking I could make some on my yellow KK round loom using your round flat circle pattern (face scrubby) pattern only super sized and not connected. I think this would make an open disk? This will probably be a winter project for next year. Should be interesting!
I LOVE your Koby’s ! They are so cute. You are so creative, wish I had half the creativity. I have 9 grand kids and am trying to get things loomed for them for Christmas. My grandmother used to slippers for all of us. Thanks for all your projects and ideas. God bless you and I hope you have a Merry Christmas
I have been lurking on your Yahoo Group and love the “feel’ of it. Too new to join the Christmas exchange this year, but looking forward to being part of it next time around 🙂
Very busy finishing up the typical Newbie Christmas presents of hats and scarves LOL … and finding Vanna’s yarn to be an especially nice choice for fingerless mitts.
Some Grinch stole my light up snowman 😦 I’ll have to start a special project today to perk me up. Maybe start the tree skirts or make new stockings.
