Here are some fun shots of my little family and I enjoying the Puyallup State Fair. These were taken two Fridays ago…
We really had a lot of fun! 🙂
Fast forward to this Friday and find me a frazzled mess near to an official nervous breakdown, lol. Blame it on time lines, shipping issues, and trouble burning DVDs. As hubby came home, he found me ready to throw my speakers through the computer screen, as I babbled incoherently.
He ever-so-sweetly unclenched my fists from the strands of hair still not ripped from my skull and lead me to a nice, quiet bed with instructions to get a little bit of rest. He brought me in some aspirin with an iced drink and said that when I was feeling better, if I would like, he would take me on a date to ride the ferris wheel at the last weekend of the fair for this year.
This is ever so extra sweet of him, as when we were 12 and 13 years of age, we had our first sort-of kidish date at our SW Washington Fair…we rode the scrambler.
I thought he was adorable.
My feelings haven’t changed.
I’m such a lucky gal! 🙂

Love the pics from the fair. Looks like so much fun! I love Emily’s headband and the henna. Both are intricate and beautiful. Megan’s satchel is simply smashing. Bold and stylish.
Big hugs to get you through the last leg of this journey. You’re almost there.
Awww, what a sweetie! Your writing is so descriptive, I pictured you with tufts of hair poking out of your head, lol.
Absolutely love your comments! First Friday in “F” is for FUN and FAMILY!!! Looks like a wonderful time together. Am glad the weather cooperated for you and all could enjoy the Puyallup Fair 🙂 P.S. Just finished watching a comedy show, and when I read your pics, all I could think of was how to pronounce the Fair’s name:
(pooh-you-all-up?) … LOL- j/k. Then after reading this recent Friday’s debacle, “F” stands out in that nasty SNAFU! What a loving hubby you have… I loved reading about how he came to your rescue! Hope you are feeling better and that Fridays will turn into “Fabulous, Fantastic, and Finally-finished” 🙂
hahaha! Jolene, that is so funny about Puyallup! We have a standing joke around here that that is that way you pronounce the name, lol. It’s actually more like: pew-AL-lup. 😉 I love what you said about what the “F” should really stand for…I’m soooo looking forward to that day when I can say that “F” means Finally-Finished and hopefully it will be Fantastic! 🙂 Thanks for the fun and very witty comment!
