Beautiful Bling!

Here’s a wonderful new idea to make some absolutely stunning jewelry pieces from very inexpensive sources and using  simple tools that you probably already have lying about the house.  Those cute gals at The DIY Dish have definitely stirred up my beading bug again, lol!  🙂  Please pop on over and watch this great webisode…you’ll be happy you did!

I watched this in the morning and remembered that somewhere around here is a whole pile of that friendly plastic. I like the washer idea. I never thought to embed items like seed beads or stamps before. This was a fast and neat show. I also like the putty style stuff and that simple ‘perfect’ bead maker.

You’re very welcome, Kim! I just love what you’re doing on your new website…I’ve been following your happenin’s at You Can Make This, so I was super excited for you both about the new web show…Congratulations and keep the excellent projects coming! 🙂

It was a really inspiring show, wasn’t it Jeannette! 🙂 I did love the products they showed…that bead roller works like a snap! I’m lucky enough to have 2 girlies who love to play with clay, so I have a lot of supplies on hand already, such as the pasta roller and assorted clay tools…but haven’t tried the bead roller yet. I really like the way the jewelry pieces turned out…what a great use for an embossing gun, lol!

I’m glad I could help you find this great how-to! I’m sure Kim and Kris would love some projects pics of what you end up creating! 🙂

Thanks so much, Bethany. What great ideas. I am going to have to give this a try. Darn, it will take away from looming and crochet time! Too many neat crafts, not enough time!!
