Bethany~
I love it Bethany! I can see lots of these in my future! Thank you very much!
Oh, I’m so glad you’ve enjoyed the project, June!!! I can definitely see more in my future…I’m intending them as some holiday gifties, lol! 😉
These are quite fast to make Bethany. I am almost done with the first one. I’ll make a second one and then post the pictures. I love the idea of using it in the bath to exfoliate too. I didn’t think of that use. A friend has some of these from her Aunt who crochets them. I just discovered them at her house last week when I stayed there. Another friend of mine saw one and asked for some. What a timely project and so quick. I see lots of these in gift bags here for the holidays. You can do holiday colors or whatever color theme the room is in too. Thanks for the great videos too. They are so colorful and very clear.
Oh, Jeannette, I’m glad you feel the same way as I do! I love these little cuties, and they are exactly what I’ve been planning on tucking into little holiday baggies. I love that word: exfoliate, lol! That’s what I was looking for on the tip of my tongue and just couldn’t find, loll! I can’t wait to see your Scrubby-O’s…Bathroom Biscuits…Kitchen Cookies…whichever! ;D
Just finished sec 7….almost ready to finish!!
ok….8 sec done!
My blue loom was busy so I grabbed a fine gauge and made a tiny one with just one strand of cotton, not having the proper materials either (I only read about it today). Using the pattern directions, I made the cutest little one which would be perfect as a face scrubber or a child’s washcloth. I’m thinking of making a few more for face scrubbers – the cotton enough is good for my face. Very cute project! If you made a bigger one would you have to adjust the number of repeats?
Woohoo for you You, Carol!!! 😀
Wendy, I can’t wait to see your little face scrubby…what an excellent modification to the pattern! 🙂 I think for the amount of wedges, it all depends on how long you make your rows. Just fit the ends together to eyeball it as you experiment to see what would be a good fit. There is a pinwheel blanket that uses……I think 30 pegs or so, and it has 12 wedges. I guess it all depends on how many pegs. 🙂
yay…just have the ends to weave in and I am done!!
Done, pictures taken. Downloading now and will email to you!!
Oh, so great, Carol-excited to see! I told you that it was a quick and easy knit. I hope you liked doing it. 🙂
LOL..yes, it is kinda quick. Took me almost 3 hours though…..I think if I use a narrower strip of the netting it will go quicker. And once I get some tulle, it will go even faster. I have been trying to think of what to put in the ladies Christmas gifts this year and think I have found a perfect item! Thanks so much.
I’m so glad! This is the project we did at the loomer’s knit night on Tuesday…everybody loved it and thought the process was really mesmerizing, lol!
Where are you going to post the pictures of the finished projects?
Right here at the bloggie, and in the Clique Pics page…is that okay with you? Pweeeease?? 😉
Of course…just wanted to know where to go look at all the projects!!
Happy Day! 😀
got my project done! I’ll email a pic to you.
Woohoo! I can’t wait to see your finished Bath Biscuit…or is a Kitchen Cookie, lol? 😉
I like kitchen cookie!
That’s my hubby’s favorite name too! I just couldn’t resist the Scrubby-O’s with the little pic of the scrubby as the “O”. 😉
I’m gettin ready to start kitchen cookie #2. I’ll hurry so I can post a picture. I’m trying to do both in one picture. The first one came out nice.
Hi Bethany,
That is a neat project, I will surly be making some of those for Christmas gifts. Thanks for a wonderful party and a great video lesson.
You’re super welcome, Marcie! Have fun with those Scrubby-O’s…I intend on doing the very same thing for the holidays. 🙂
