Jolene Torgler sent me this pic showing off her Mini Facial Scrubby-O! Here’s what she said about it:
“I did this in 100% cotton yarn ombre on an Extra Fine Gauge loom. It made a perfect sized facial scrubby for my daughter. She is a cosmetologist and loves them!”
Thank you Jolene for another example of how we can take a project and make it our own by changing it up just enough to suit our needs…Terrific inspiration! 😀

ps: If you’ve been wondering where in the world I’ve been lately, I’ve been undergoing some serious nursing back to health due to a severe cold/flu that pretty much wiped me out completely and turned my brains into scrambled pudding, delirious dreams and all, lol. I’m starting to feel better now, thank goodness, and even ventured out last night to attend my local knit night. It was difficult to hear all the conversation, as my ears are completely stuffed, but I had a really good time knitting and chatting and catching up…then I came home and crashed from the bit of extra exersion, lol. 😛
In the meantime, I have been looming and working on new projects…marking them off the book to-do list and trying to wrap them all up in a nice, pretty package, so to speak. I can see the end around the corner (finally!) and am getting kind of excited. This thing has been a very long process and I’m trying to give it that extra attention now that I can see the tell-tale signs of completion. If you hear just a bit less from me here, it’s because I’m working hard on my end, trying to get it all done, so please bear with me! 🙂 Happy Looming to you all!
wow.. looks like i need a fine gauge loom. Any suggestions? I only have the KK looms.
Josie, my faves have always been from dalooms.com 🙂
Great idea, my sister is a cosmetologist and it would be great to make her a stack for herself too. I have plenty of cotton to use right here so I can start making them for her for Christmas. Thanks.
Keep up the good work Bethany, and have fun finishing up the knitting and editing for that ummm book? or booklet? secret, there that is a better term for it. I can’t wait to see what it is.
Hi all!
Thank you Bethany for posting on your web page! I used a DA “adjustable” fine guage loom. The picture has the loom in it, so you know what it looks like. These are fun to make, and I’ve made tons of other things on this wonderful loom 🙂
Thanks for the info, Jolene! …and thanks again for the great idea! 🙂
