…putting on the jingle!

We ventured out on a very rainy day to hunt down the biggest tree in 20 years!

Decking the Halls with all our wildly assorted bits and bobs of favorites and handmades from over the years~

The stockings are hung on the mantle with care... there's even a Loom Knit Snowman down there! 🙂

Hope your halls are splendidly decked and your shopping is nearly complete, with treats in the kitchen and warm slippers on your feet!  🙂

Beautiful, I want to come and join in. My house is chaos and no tree. 😦 Maybe when we come back home. We will celebrate on Jan. 1st. This will be weird…and wrong!! I feel bad for my two sons, no Christmas until we get back home. Tomorrow is one son’s Birthday too, I will get to give him presents for that anyway.
    Have a wonderful Christmas.

I hope you have a wonderful Christmas too, Jeannette! 🙂 You shouldn’t feel bad…Christmas is supposed to be every day of the year, right? So if you have your celebrations a little bit late, no worries!

    Enjoy your travels!

Your tree is so beautiful Bethany! Your decorations are so cute and festive! I got our tree up and some decorations hung and put out in the living room, but all the lights are bad and new ones need to be purchased so everything is just in limbo right now. I have been so busy running to one appointment after another and running up to school I haven’t had a chance to get into town and get some. Hopefully this weekend! I hope you and yours has a wonderful Christmas!

Looks beautiful!!! I love your arched doorway too! We have a couple arched walls in our house too – love them.

Oh, thank you so much, Karen! 🙂 I know that you’ll be able to pull everything together…you’re a very resourceful gal!

I usually have that very same trouble…you do your very best to store things as carefully as you can, but when they’re all plugged in…there’s only darkness, lol. This year, amazingly enough, I had 5 extra strings of lights that weren’t already occupying my other set of three artificial trees, that fell apart nicely (not in knots like usual!) and all lit up on the first try…a true Christmas miracle! 😉

I hope you and your family have the most wonderful holiday season yet!

Thank you, Kelly! 🙂 I love those arches too! We have them all through the house and I think we’re so blessed to be in such a pretty and vintage-y home. You can see more pics of our house here from last year’s Thanksgiving tour: https://gettinitpegged.com/2009/12/02/sharing/

Hope you’re having a wonderful holiday so far! 😀
