Everybody has…and IS…making this celebration something great to remember always! Thank you everyone who has taken the time to come and check out what’s happening and for staying and playing awhile.

Don’t forget that you still have some time to enter the 6 drawing giveaways of little fibery whatnots: You have until midnight tonight to get your entries into the Fiber Hunt ….it’s been a ton of fun seeing all the interesting fibery links out there… some of them, I would have never dreamed were in existence, lol!

Carol and Kelly, I love the colors you chose. I am going to make more of these right away. I went to the church and stocked up everything and cleaned the kitchen for tomorrow’s dinner and I found my friends version of this. Her aunt made it by crocheting several rounds of double crochet completely with tulle. She used pretty colors too. She used two colors in 1.5 inch strips. I checked very carefully. I just used mine and had just used the one at church. I like these better. The cotton inside makes them feel better in your hand and they are good for more than just scrubbing off stuck on food. These are more absorbent. Now I have that comparison. I’m just popping in between cooking. I have 3 roasts cooking and need to make mashed potatoes and potato salad yet. I’m cooking for the family that had the wreck, she is down again with fever and I’m also cooking for the dinner tomorrow. Kill two birds with one stone, only heat the oven up once. We do this dinner the first Sunday of every month. It is great to have a nice big meal about 1:00 and visit with each other. Then come home and rest, the cooking and cleaning is done. I love these Sundays.
I’m also having the Sunday School kids make pipe cleaner and pony bead fish for their craft. Nothing like a busy weekend. I love it.

  3. June says:

Thanx for the great day and another year of your fabulous creations Bethany! Looking forward to many more!

  4. Pam Sawyer says:

Thank Bethany for a fun day. Hoping to start on my scrubby o in the next few days. Love the colours of the one posted.

  5. I just entered my finds in the Fiber Hunt under its specific post…One link I had to do again ’cause it wouldn’t work so I have 2 posts for the entry of 6 items. 🙂

  6. Kelly J says:

Thanks Jeannette. I love your colors too. These have just been added to my list to make for Christmas gifts. Nice easy project – thanks Bethany!!! I’m thinking of making whole kitchen sets with scrubby o’s and dishtowels and hotpads.

  7. Jeannette Pirkle says:

Kelly, that is such a great idea. Put it in a dish or a cassorole tote and it has a presentation to it too. I just learned how to make cassorole carriers from 2 bandana’s. Good combo for a gift.

  8. Denise says:

    those are cute!

  9. I know I’m too late for an entry, but I just wanted to let you know that I did get one done today. You would have thought I’d forgotten everything that I knew, but I finally got it done thanks to your great videos… 🙂 The tube of tulle I bought at the Dollar Tree makes 3 total. Now I think I completely understand the pinwheel baby blanket pattern concept…

  10. I also found this little fold-out box at the Dollar Tree the same day I bought the tulle. It’s perfect for toting around this project. 🙂
