Well…I did it! My last day on my job was Friday.
I felt so unbalanced over the weekend, not knowing what to do with myself after so many years of working at a regular job. I kind of had that lost feeling…like I was cast from the shore, and just floating without a tether line to keep me safe. Weird, isn’t it? How you look so much forward to something, and then when you actually get to have it, it’s kind of scary. 😛 But I know it’s all for the best. My family will be much better off having a home rather than a place to hang when we’re not running around like chickens and such.
Now to find a new place to make that home, closer to my hubby’s new job. We checked out Gig Harbor over the weekend… let me tell you… it’s just marvelous! 😀 We loved the charminess of it all. The architecture so reminded us of what we’ve come to love about Bend, OR. It’s just so
cottage charming, and everything nestles in it’s own little nooks and crannies in the greenery. It would be very nice to find a place there. 🙂 Of course, it’s super nice being so near the Sound. We’ve always loved seeing the boats and being near the water.
Well…I guess we’ll see! Endless possibilities await…

Yay! Happy for you, Bethany ❤ I’m glad to see that you were treated to a cake 😉
Gig Harbor looks beautiful! I want to move there too! Wonder if I could convince hubby and my family and his Mom to move too… heehee.
Good luck in your new future ❤ Hugs!
it sounds wonderful. i have a girlfriend who home schooled all her daughters. he last one went to a&m this year. she thought that after home schooling for 13 years, she would now have tons to time for other stuff now…no such luck! i have barely seen her. so what does this have to do with you…busy women do not suddenly slow down…you watch, the world will decend on you! you will not stay idle.
i forgot…add pictures when you find your new home!
