Feeling Princess-y?

I just recieved an email alert that I felt was just too good not to pass on!

Amazon has released 2 free patterns…(these are needle knitting patterns, for those of you who needle knit, or for those loomies who are looking for inspiration for a new design)…from the book Fairy Tale Knits: 32 Projects to Knit Happily Ever After, by A. Stewart-Guinee.  They are the gorgeous Snowflake Queen Sweater Coat, and the very whimsical Princess Crown Pattern!

Just thought I’d pass that along.  😉  Having the occasional princess complex myself, I figured there were others out there just like me who’d like to know, lol!  Have a very happy week!  Hopefully I’ll be spending mine actually making the official move…more details later…but for now I’ll send out a very big YIPPEE!!!!!!!!!

Well…that’s it!   I hope you like the new groups and prices…

On a personal note, as you know we’ve been busy getting ready for a move…which hasn’t exactly happened yet.  😛
The home purchase we’ve been looking at has had one delay after another over the last several months, and now we’re down to the wire and need to move before my eldest daughter starts her running start courses at the college in the new town!

Needless to say, we’ve been pretty stressed over here, trying to make that happen…we may have to turn our back on this particular deal and find something to replace it-quick!   I guess we’ll have to see…

On the subject of school, my younger dd has started her online schooling with K12 already. This is our first year with this school, and it’s been interesting so far… and pretty intensive! We got to do an official art fresco made out of real poured plaster and paint on the very first day (of course, I didn’t realize before hand and so didn’t have any of the supplies and had to jump in the car for a quick run to the craft store, lol!) But all turned out well, and Megan had a great time doing it.  I haven’t done “homeschool” before, and although this is classified as public school in WA state, the input from a parental-type teacher-person is pretty much an all day thing. I hope that we’ll get into the swing of things soon and all the kinks will smooth themselves out. 😉 I’ll keep you posted!

Well…I’ve kept you long enough. Just give me a buzz at my email if you’d like to take advantage of the book sale:  Bethany@Gettinitpegged.com …and have a fantabulous weekend!

…fun find and a new freebie!

Hehehe.  This should have been posted on a Friday with all those “f’s”.

Okay…I just got my daily dose of Etsy email that shows little tidbits of what’s hot and happening right now on that great site for selling handcrafted goodies…

I found something that I absolutely love!  Check these out!  I think I must have some…these are just too cute!  What a great way to use knits in your everyday attire. 🙂

And for your Freebie pleasure…I’ve finally kept my word to a wonderful loomy friend that requested the Kitchener Stitch Pocket Guide in a not so pockety size so that she could actually read the hints contained therein, lol! 😉  (hehehe! You know who you are!  Hugs to you!)

Kitchener Stitch Loom Guide Full Page smSo, I give to you the Half Page Kitchener Stitch Guide for Loomies (just right click on the large pic when it comes up and either click “print” or “save picture as”…)  I hope you can get a lot of use out of this and that it’s much easier on your eyeballs, lol.  *note: due to the program in which I originally created this, it turned out not so crisp as I’d like when enlarged…I hope that’s okay.  😛

Happy Weekend, All!
