WAS WONDERING IF ANY ONE COULD HELP EXPLAIN ROWS 31 & 32 FOR THE SUPER EASY MITTEN PATTERN. I AM NEW TO LOOMING, SO SOME OF THE TERMS I AM STILL NOT FAMILIAR WITH.

IF YOU CAN HELP THAT WOULD BE GREAT!

Great patterns. I love everything. It's all so cute. Now if I just knew how to do it all.

I'm just starting out and hoping to one day get better at it.

Thanks for all the great ideas. Who would have thought a loom could be so fun.

I'm wondering if you can help me out. I purchased the "singer knitting machine" for my daughters to help teach them how to knit. They are just to young for me to teach them with needles, any way there was no project booklet included in the box upon opening it. Now I know how to knit with regular needles, but what I'm wondering is if any of the circle loom patterns that you have featured will work with this contraption. If so can you please include or send me some patterns that little girls can use. Or if you can help me look for a project booklet, I would be ever so grateful. Thank-you

Hi, Rayne! I hope you're having a very Merry Christmas!

I have experienced this as well with this particular yarn...the only thing I can attribute it to is a variance in the actual yardage included in the skein. :P (...since many others were created using the same tension and with enough for one placemat in each skein.) It's really weird! What has been done to remedy this in the past is to just use a tad bit from another skein to finish the placemat...there has actually been enough to do this and finish another out of the same skein...which is an additional factor that validates the yardage idea...

But your idea of shortening the body of the placemat should work fine...just write down what you've done to adjust the pattern, so that you can make matching mates if you're planning on creating a set. :)

HTH's! Happy holidays!

Hey, I just worked the basketweave placemat and I love it, but I ran out of yarn to do the cast off!! Not sure what happened since gauge is determined by the loom peg spacing, and I used the green round loom. My beginning tail is fairly short also, so it's not that I left too much yarn at the beginning. I'm thinking my only option will be to rip back part of the basketweave portion so that I have enough to make the matching garter stitch edge.

I found your mittens pattern but for some reason it won't open on my computer, would you mind emailing it to me? If not I will try to find another one somewhere else, Thank you so much, Angela...
