Have a Very Happy Easter!

How cute is that?!

…make sure you find a bunny to squeeze today!   :)

Our day at the Cider Mill~

We all went to Lattin’s Cider Mill yesterday…an absolute MUST visit every fall!  They are nationally known for their excellent cider and people travel from miles around to taste their fabulous apple fritters…we had to wait in line 45 minutes to get ours, and believe me…it was worth every minute!  They said that they premade 1800 dough forms for this weekend and they were already having to make an emergency batch to meet the demand.

Here’s a little slide show of our adventures…

Chester in the Grass~

Is it Splendor…or Chester in the grass?

How cute is that?!I think he’s as handsome as Warren Beatty!   :D

Well, just to let you know a little of what we’ve been doing around our house lately…

…besides combating the “back to school flu”…

concentrating hard! My Emily has been working on her 2nd sewing project…1st  to be actually completed so far.  I think this one will give her the confidence, or initiative to go ahead and finish the first one now. ;)

She’s doing an excellent job…and this is not a beginner’s pattern. Skirt progress so far…

*Keep it up, Emily!

On a LOOMY NOTE…I’m working on 3 projects at the moment!  Leave it to me to go crazy with ideas, and then not have the fortitude to focus on one thing long enough to actually finish it before beginning another.  Oh, well.  So is life!   :)  I am working on the October Peggin’ Pages Edition…keep your eyes on the look out!

Well…Have a Happy Wednesday!  I guess mine was definitely not “wordless”!  :D

Best in Show Bunny!

I took my daughters to the local chamber of commerce annual pet show on Tuesday to enter my youngest daughter’s pet rabbit.   To our amazement…our little Chester Bunny won Best in Show!  We knew we had a Superstar in our midst!

He was sooo good!  He was calm and let all kinds of kids Megan & Chestercome and pet him (there were 278 in attendance!)  He didn’t even get spooked by the dogs in the crowd.  The event was so funny….there were everything from cats and dogs to goats, birds, and turtles!  All the kids were so pleased to show off their critters.

Great job Megan & Chester!
