I think it’s that time of year again…

The nights have begun to get chilly…the blankets are added to the beds.  The leaves on the trees are beginning to show a sprinkling of yellow and reds.

We moved far away, but nevertheless…they’ve found our new hiding place, and have decided to test

our patience, and unwavering nerves at their best…

the Spiders are back… we’ve counted all eight…

the same as the number of their long spindly legs.

2 on the wall, 1 in the hamper, 2 on the floor making all of us scamper.

2 set up residence in the bathroom by the pot.

The other morning, In the depths of the bathtub this one was found …

and I can say without doubt, that now he lives NOT!  ;)

actual size!

actual size!

…and he was the smallest of them all!  Yuck!!!   :P

You have my sympathy. We have been dealing with the same spider. One night I was up after every one had gone to bed, happily knitting away and one of those uglies dropped on my arm! Talk about the creepy crawlies! :< Eeeeeeeeewwwwwww!

EEEEEEEEW! I have those same spiders, here in NE MS! I….HATE….SPIDERS! I went to let my little chihuahua out of his crate one morning and lifted his blanket (he whines all night if you don’t put the blanket over his crate) and there was one of those monstrous Wolf (?) spiders! It was seriously half the size of my big size 10 foot! I wasn’t gonna risk trying to stomp on it, for it to crawl on me (or worse, see the icky legs sticking out from under my foot), so I grabbed the phone book and dropped it on him with a THWACK that made Thade jump clear out of his skin (and the spiders guts are still on the phone book! ICK!) I have found out that if you try to drown spiders with hot water…there legs pop off. Which causes me to give an evil, witch like chuckle. :D

My hubby brought me a giant spinder on the flyswatter while I was out spinning this evening. He said he found it in the window well in the boys room. It was about the size of a quarter and in the short time it took him to come up the stairs and out to the garage, the massive thing had spun a web onto the flyswatter. He was dangling it around me just to tease me and it dropped down from it’s web by a strand. I could have killed him. It was a very light brown color. I’d never seen a spider like it before. He delighted himself in tossing it into the yard since he said it is going to get below 40 degrees tonight, and it would slow it down. If it were up to me, I would have just stomped on it :D
