I thought it was about time to show you how I’m doing on Denise’s Pinwheel Blanket. We’re doing an impromptu, free-form loom along with this pattern on the Loom Knitter’s Chat Clique…feel free to join! All you need is the pattern, and to belong to the clique. 
This shows how the blanket looks on each side…I like how it looks great no matter which side is up. Perfect for a easy lap throw! I’m intending on adding a 6 inch sawtooth border around the perimeter, so that the entire width will end up being 45 inches. Right now it measures 33 inches.
Here’s some lovely little items I found while exploring my new back yard this morning. What sweet treasures! I need to do some weeding, and we’re going to plant a small veggie garden, but these little beauties were a very nice find in all their uncultivated glory. Enjoy!

And I love the flowers. I love flowers sooooo much, but if I even water a plant, it dies. I don’t know how on earth we will ever have a garden.
